When Jason, a military guy between deployments, wakes up in the morning with a steak knife in his back and finds his friends brutally slaughtered in the living room, he desperately tries to remember what happened the night before. After racking his brain, Jason recalls last night’s reunion with the couple he and his girlfriend haven’t seen for two years:
The party innocently starts off with some Chinese food and a fat joint that inspires a discussion about different ideologies and the meaning of life. In order to turn the discussion into an experience, the group smokes a psychedelic drug (DMT with an unknown kick) that transports them into a world of incredibly beautiful, complex and multi-faceted geometric patterns. But Jason’s trip soon takes an unexpected turn when the wonderful scenery suddenly turns aggressive and attacks him in the form of black smoke. Jason wakes up with a gasp and runs to the bathroom to vomit.
On his way back to the living room, Jason gets lured into his friend’s office by a computer screen that displays an open chat window with an anonymous person addressing him by name. Jason starts communicating with a mysterious person that not only demonstrates to know every dark secret about him, but also claims that Jason has the potential to acquire unlimited powers. Believing the rhetoric that his heart is connected to something bigger than him, something he may call spirit, the unconscious, his higher self, the universe, or even God, Jason vows to become “All He Can Be” by follow his heart and feelings.
Blinded by the vision of becoming God-like, Jason digs deeper into his subconscious and unlocks ever-darkening impulses that lead him to believe that his best friend had an affair with his girlfriend. Jason’s paranoia propels him to resort to barbaric measures that would make anyone admit anything. While committing several unspeakable acts of evil, Jason is ready to believe that devouring a virgin’s heart is the last step to acquire everlasting power.
Can he be stopped?
